The Dödelhaie are a German punk rock band from Duisburg who have been winning over fans since the late 1980s with catchy melodies, humorous lyrics, and socially critical themes. Over the years, their sound has evolved from classic German punk to melodic punk rock, without losing their unmistakable blend of wit, energy, and attitude. The band’s second album from 1992 features classic hits like “Heute Nacht,” “Feinde,” and the legendary “Holzfällerlied,” which still holds a firm place in the Dödelhaie’s live setlist today.
